Why get tested?
Amphetamines test detects amphetamine drugs and their metabolites in urine samples. Methamphetamines drugs also change to amphetamines in the body. Amphetamine is a stimulant of the central nervous system. Though there are medical uses for amphetamines, they are amongst the most frequently misused drugs. Misuse of amphetamines has adverse effects on health, such as the most significant effects are acne, blurred vision, and restlessness. Moreover, the rarer side effects of amphetamines experienced by the patients are psychosis, heart problems, and seizures.

Amphetamines test is for people who could be taking any of the amphetamine drugs. The time after which the user begins to experience the effects of amphetamines depends on the type of amphetamine and the method of its intake. For instance, the effects of injected amphetamines are immediate and severe, and they last for only a few minutes. Then the effects of snoring are less severe than injecting or smoking and they start to appear in only 3-5 minutes. The effects of taking amphetamines through the mouth start to show 15 to 20 minutes after intake and they stay longer than injecting, snorting, or smoking, depending on the quantity of the drug.
